MISSIONS
The importance Riveroaks places on outreach through missionary support is evident in the fact that 20% of our budget goes toward their support. We currently are supporting 25 missionaries and their families around the world with our finances and prayer encouragement. The listing and emails of supported missionaries (below) provides email connections. (In some cases, the email addresses are either unavailable or restricted, so the missionary’s name and country is still mentioned for your prayer information.) Email addresses listed on this page will allow you to encourage them by letting them know you are praying for them and their work for the Lord.
Each spring the Missions Committee invites missionaries who are on Home Ministry Assignment (HMA) and local outreach minitries to participate in our Missions Conference This conference assists Riveroaks members and friends to stay updated on how God has used them in spreading the Gospel on foreign and home mission fields. The Missions Conference for 2009 was held February 15-22, 2009. Please contact the church office if you would like information on this event.
