Community
In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded Christians to reach the lost. As stewards of the Gospel, RRPC seeks to mobilize every member to serve God and build up His Church through active participation and practical support of evangelism, missions activities, and mercy ministry both locally and throughout the world.
As Christians we are called to function as one body. RRPC will assist individuals in pursuing Christ-centered relationships by providing opportunities for fellowship and discipleship, by encouraging every member to use his or her gifts in the ministry of the church, and by sponsoring various small groups.
Biblical Community, whereby every member of RRPC is a living embodiment of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a demonstration of the kingdom of God, is a worthy goal embraced by the Session. We will attempt to foster this kind of community by supporting all existing small groups AND by encouraging new groups to form. No member is beyond the need for loving community, and we will seek to see everyone giving and receiving this type of Biblical care.
