David and Jan Thomae have served with Mission to the World since 1988, first in Kenya in a rural health center and now in Nigeria in a cooperative agreement with SIM. The Thomaes work among the
Fulani, Muslim nomadic cattle herders, teaching out with community health development, showing the love of Christ by both word and deed. The Fulani are one of the largest unreached people groups
in Africa; as many as 10 million live in Nigeria. Before God called the Thomaes to missions, David was in private practice of internal medicine in Pensacola, Florida. They
were active in their home church, McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian, where Jan served as a Bible teacher and David was a ruling elder. They have two sons Jordan and Daniel.
Please pray with them that many Fulani would put their faith in Christ and that the church will be established among them.
